Although Vegas has many entertainment options for adults, it is often seen as having nothing for children. That’s not quite true, though! There are plenty of options for all ages of kids, and here are a few good ones to consider.

1. David Copperfield (MGM Grand, 866.740.7711) The master magician will thrill both adults and children, with mind-reading, appearances and disappearances galore, leaving everyone in the audience amazed. However, this show is restricted to those over 5 years of age.

2. New York-New York Arcade (New York-New York, 702.740.6969) Although you need to be 54 inches tall to ride the Big Apple Roller Coaster, wandering around the arcade here doesn’t come with a height requirement. Get those competitive juices flowing with Skee-ball, air hockey and a boatload of new and vintage games.

3. Adventuredome (Circus Circus, 702.794.3939) The theme park under the pink dome has been a favorite of visitors for many years, mixing huge roller coasters and stomach-testing, spinning rides with a midway. But it’s perfect for the younger set, too, with mellow rides that allow pre-pre-pre teens some thrills of their own.

4. Topgolf Las Vegas (4627 Koval Lane, 702.933.8458) A mix of physical activity and competitive sports makes this a fabulous place to haul the 8-year-olds and satisfy the teens, too. And with each game being ranked as suitable for newbies to pros, choosing the right one is easy-peasy.

5. Sugar Factory (3200 Las Vegas Blvd S., 702.685.0483) This Fashion Show restaurant/candy store features a menu of smoking candy goblets, which have given bachelorette parties plenty of fun for years—but did you know they have nonalcoholic versions for the kiddos? Kool-Aid will never be enough again.

6. Extravaganza—The Vegas Spectacular (Bally’s, 702.777.2782) The amazing acts in this variety show are sure to awe your children (and you, too), with acrobats and showgirls, holograms and daredevil motorcyclists, as well as Silvia Silvia, the America’s Got Talent crossbow expert. Just hope she doesn’t inspire the children to re-create her act at home.

7. Kappa Toys (3200 Las Vegas Blvd S., 702.832.9504) These days, many kids have never seen anything but the toy aisle at a local big-box store, but when they step into Kappa Toys, it’s a whole new world. The store stocks an array of retro toys and new Japanese releases, from plushies to glow-in-the-dark figures. There’s an area dedicated to tokidoki and one to Studio Ghibli. The sheer wonder of it all may cause them to faint (maybe that’s you).

8. Shark Reef Aquarium (Mandalay Bay, 702.632.4555) Smile, and show those teeth! The aquarium features Komodo dragons, piranhas and sharks, plus jellyfish and an octopus. A see-through tunnel puts you right in the middle of swirling, swimming sharks. Challenge your 5-year-old to keep his eyes on just one, and he might be occupied for hours.

9. Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Treasure Island, 702.894.7722) For fans of the movie series, this attraction can’t be beat. There are zillions of Iron Man suits, the Captain America origin story, displays on Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man and many more. And saving the universe might be possible if your fingers are quick enough during an interactive game at the end.
