You may have never thought of singing the song “White Christmas” while substituting the color pink, but after seeing the transformation of Flamingo and The Linq Promenade into a holiday festival of food, drink and light, it might be difficult to ever remember the season without that color popping into your head.

The magic begins at Flamingo’s Wildlife Habitat (home to pink flamingos, of course!), where spectators can enjoy an array of thousands of pink, twinkling lights and decorations like a life-size snow globe, oversized presents, pink candy canes and Christmas trees. The Linq Promenade is punctuated by a 30-foot-tall Christmas tree as well.

During this special time of year, venues at both locations will be offering specialty items to help get you in the holiday spirit.

At Flamingo, several bars and restaurants—including Garden Bar, Bird Bar, Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse and Flamingo Social Bar—will be serving specialty holiday-themed cocktails like The Spice is Right, belly-warming with Captain Morgan spiced rum, ginger beer, cranberry juice, cinnamon simple syrup and a lime wedge; Mr. or Mrs. Klaus, a sweet concoction combining your choice of Pendleton whiskey or Ketel One vodka, Baileys Irish Cream, amaretto and Fireball cinnamon whiskey; Tequila Toddy, all the normal ingredients in a toddy like hot water, lemon juice, honey, ground cinnamon and cinnamon stick, but adding Hornitos reposado; and Reindeer Kick, featuring Jameson Cold Brew, hot or iced coffee, peppermint syrup and a crushed candy cane rim.

At The Linq Promenade, restaurants and attractions are all getting into the spirit of the season. The Honolulu Cookie Company’s limited-time offerings include peppermint macadamia, white chocolate ginger spice and white chocolate pumpkin. Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop offers—what else?—limited-edition peppermint hot cocoa and salted caramel hot cocoa. And Icebar, an all-ages ice attraction, transforms into the North Pole, complete with holiday-themed ice sculpture.
