If you’ve ever been to Las Vegas to see Lady Gaga’s Jazz & Piano shows, you know Brian Newman: He’s the bandleader for that residency, keeping the proceedings moving and lively with his energy and talent. And now the multitalented musician wants to help you usher in the new year in style at Brian Newman After Dark.
Newman, a trumpeter and vocalist, will begin each performance at 11:30 p.m., with shows scheduled for Dec. 30-Jan. 1. It’s an evening you won’t soon forget, combining the elegance of the NoMad Library and the performers Newman brings in from all over the country. Past guest performers have included Ashanti, Robby Krieger of The Doors, and, of course, Lady Gaga.
