If you are looking for a way to experience something totally new, try Blackout Dining in the Dark. This combination of gourmet restaurant and exciting attraction gives even the most jaded person something to talk about.

When you enter, you’ll fill out a menu with your food preferences of sweet, savory or spicy, and make sure any allergies are known (you can also indicate this when making your reservation, but double-checking with the host is always a good idea). From there, drop off your phone and belongings and let yourself be guided into the darkness within. It’s lightless in the dining room, and you are encouraged to use your senses of taste and smell to decipher what you are eating and drinking. Use your sense of hearing to pay attention to your companion, and really hear what they are saying.

This style of dining is really eye-opening, in a certain sense!
