There’s a lot of cool things to check out in Las Vegas. But no three spots capture the word “cool” both literally and figuratively more than Minus5 Ice Experience at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place and The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian and Icebar at The Linq Promenade. All three hot spots—that are really cool spots—are like an attraction rolled into a bar packaged inside a lounge, and the surroundings are made completely of ice. Tons and tons of ice.

Ninety tons of ice create a winter wonderland at both Minus5 Ice Experience locations. The blocks of ice are shipped directly from Canada and world-renowned ice carvers chip, saw and carve 250-pound blocks to create scenic rooms and sculptures throughout the lounge. Even the chairs, tables, benches and cups that your

cocktails come in are made of ice. Some of Minus5’s popular signature cocktails include the Frosted Berries and Ice In Da Coconut. Bonus: your cocktail gets colder the longer you sip on it!

Over at the Icebar location, guests get treated to a Game of Thrones-style throne made of ice and various ice sculptures dedicated to the Vegas Golden Knights—both the perfect backdrop to snap those vacay pics. While perusing all the ice sculptures, sidle up to the bar made of ice and order one of Icebar’s signature cocktails like the The Ice Man. One hundred tons of ice fill the more than 1,000-square-foot lounge, but for those that need to warm up, step on to Icebar’s heated patio that overlooks the Promenade.

Guests of all three locations get to don either parkas or faux-fur coats and gloves. While all three locations cater to those partiers 21 and over, families with children 7 years and older are welcome to tour and hang inside each ice lounge location up until 9 p.m.
