From the desert dunes to the tropical sands, the new Élia Beach Club transports guests from Las Vegas to a beachy paradise. “The design was inspired by many years of traveling to amazing places like Mykonos and Tulum,” says Élia Beach Club hospitality leader Mio Danilovic. “We felt that Vegas deserved a similar vibe and drew inspiration from some of our favorite places across the globe, making adjustments to fit the Las Vegas market. I’d say it’s the perfect marriage between Mykonos, Tulum and Las Vegas.”

Guests can chill in the cool waters or on luxury daybeds dotted along the sand or opt for one of the many roomy cabanas stocked with upgraded amenities and comfy furniture. A huge covered outdoor lounge and bar allows for shaded reprieve, and the multilevel day club also offers an intimate pool, second bar and plenty of lounging space on the upper floor with a bird’s-eye view of the entire pool complex.

Élia also offers a significantly elevated cocktail program. “We brought in local luminary Peter Vitolo to assist in curating our beverage program so that it does not skip a beat in its speed and delivery, and yet at the same time maintains a focus on the highest-quality ingredients,” says Élia Beach Club hospitality leader Michael Fuller. “This is seen in our specialty cocktail program that covers frozen classics that are reminiscent of those enjoyed in exotic and tropical destinations.”

Cocktail highlights known as elixirs include the Tulum with Casamigos reposado tequila, grapefruit juice, Cointreau, orgeat syrup, lime and mint, and the Flamenco Beach with Grey Goose Watermelon and Basil Essence vodka, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, watermelon juice, cucumber and lime. Under the frozen delights umbrella, the Banana Cabana is a fave sip mixed with Bacardi Superior rum, Reàl banana syrup and piña colada mix.

Besides bringing the daytime party vibes, the beach club also focuses on health and wellness, which includes community classes like yoga and fitness. “Retail Row, the working title as we’re calling it, is another spot I enjoy at the beach club,” says Élia Beach Club hospitality leader Jason “JROC” Craig. “We have body painters, IV and oxygen stations, retail and massage therapy. This section speaks to our health and wellness as well as the overall vibe we are trying to create.”

And Élia has curated a specific sound called “progressive beach music.” From the huge stage equipped with impressive sound system and high-tech lighting, the live EDM sets come courtesy of featured resident DJs like Sofi Tukker, Lane 8, Deadmau5 and Loco Dice.

“Our goal at Élia, and all hospitality projects we develop and manage, is to deliver an experience that transcends time and space,” Fuller says. “We want people to be reminded of the way the world felt when they were young—vast, extraordinary, full of possibility and the potential for a magical moment was always just a blink away from the present. We want to move people to the outer edge of their comfort zones and into an amazing world that is built for them to explore.”
