The party is popping off in Las Vegas for the July 4 holiday—literally. Guests celebrating in the neon city are in for a special treat—for the first time, the Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Authority presents an epic firework show on the Fourth of July. Make sure to take to the streets of the Strip beginning at 11 p.m. to set eyes on a themed, coordinated light spectacular, as fireworks will be launched from the rooftops of Aria, Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood Resort, Resorts World, The STRAT, Treasure Island and The Venetian.

More firework displays are on tap on July 1 at 9 p.m. from the rooftop of Palace Station; and for some neighborhood flair, locals favorite casinos Red Rock Resort and Green Valley Ranch plan their own displays at 9 p.m. on July 4. Downtown Vegas gets in on the party action at The Plaza, where for three nights, from July 2-4, guests can snag a spot at the hotel’s awesome rooftop pool and watch a dazzling firework show staged from multiple locations on the property’s roofs and towers. In honor of the holiday, and in honor of the Plaza’s 50th anniversary celebration, guests can also celebrate with specials across the property, including $5 Sauza Gold margaritas and pool cabana rentals with bottle service starting at just $101.

Another downtown hot spot allows guests to get a bird’s-eye view of the city’s fireworks spectacular on July 4 from the rooftop of Circa Resort & Casino’s über-cool lounge, Legacy Club. For $250 per person, guests can enjoy the show while taking advantage of an open bar with craft cocktails and select wines and whiskies. Nearby, the outdoor concert arena Downtown Las Vegas Events Center welcomes EDM heavy hitter Excision, along with a lineup of special guests, across two nights, July 2-3, for an audiovisual, bass-filled evening of music and dance.

Break out the kid in you for a sweet July 4 party at Area15 arts and entertainment district for its “Happy Camper” adult summer camp party beginning at 8 p.m. Offerings include old-school camp games, a talent show, arts and crafts and food and drink specials. Guests can also enjoy live music as DJs, including Tara Brooks, Doc Martin, Marques Wyatt and Diva Danielle, take the stage at the outdoor A-Lot. Plus, take in the view of the Strip fireworks.

Before heading outdoors for the Strip’s firework show, stop by The X Pot at The Grand Canal Shoppes for its July 4 holiday special. Inside the Asian fusion restaurant’s lounge, enjoy a live DJ and 30% off cocktails and 20% off all food orders.

If you really want to splurge, book the July 4 Stars & Stripes holiday flight with Maverick Helicopters. For $449 per person, guests get a round-trip flight above the Strip and descend to a private vista for nearly two hours of ground time and picturesque views of the massive Strip firework display, along with complimentary beverages and food.

Happy Independence Day, party people!
