Can you believe that Las Vegas nightlife and its megaclubs have lain dormant for more than a year? Yup, when the pandemic hit, nightlife was one of the hardest-hit industries—and the most missed by visitors and locals alike. However, now that we’re moving in the right direction as a city, (heck, even the country), nightlife and its titans are slowly—and carefully and safely—coming back to life, and that includes nightlife behemoth Omnia at Caesars Palace.
The opulent club isn’t fully opening, but on March 5 it reopens its expansive terrace and will operate as a lounge. Guests 21 and over will have a place to chill come Friday and Saturday, beginning at 10:30 p.m. and going late into the night.
This outdoor space has some of the best views of any lounge in the city—sweeping vistas of the Las Vegas Strip. The backdrop is a neon-lit paradise, perfect for those selfie moments. The space is also lit from LED strips embedded in the flooring and walls, which gives the terrace a cool, high-tech vibe. Etched-glass light fixtures and cantilevered lampposts also add to the ambience, lighting up the evening in a romantic way. For extra privacy, guests can book one of the many cabanas set up in a tiered position throughout the terrace; VIP tables are also available and spaced out for added safety.
Speaking of continued safety, Omnia will offer a touchless menu system. Guests can scan a QR code from their cell phones, and the menu—filled with cocktails and bottle service options—will pull up for ordering options. A rigorous cleaning plan has also been put into place.
In a statement, Omnia’s operators, the Hakkasan Group, said they have been preparing extensively under guidance from public health experts to develop a plan to make the venue safe for visitors. All guests must make a reservation in order to get into Omnia; and they might be in demand, so get yours soon. And let’s get back to some sense of nightlife normalcy … however that looks these days.
