There’s a reason Scott Thompson made Las Vegas Magazine’s inaugural Hall of Fame class in 2020: Not only is his show the longest-running comedy show currently on the Las Vegas Strip, he’s Carrot Top, one of the funniest guys to ever hit Vegas. His prop comedy, which has evolved over the years to include an almost-limitless amount of possibilities in any given show, moves at a rapid rate—you’re barely able to register a joke before another one smacks you in the funny bone! Some are extremely corny (Carrot Top fully acknowledges this when it happens), but when they hit, you’ll be helpless with laughter.
One thing you may not know about Mr. Top: He’s in superb shape. To say he expends a considerable amount of energy each every show is a considerable understatement; by the time he’s done, you’ll be tired just from watching him. But no one can deny that he leaves it all on the field.
