Wander into The Cosmopolitan on Oct. 23 with a ticket to WhiskyX and you'll set yourself free to explore an incredible world during this amazing weekend, featuring drink (of course), food and entertainment.

"The WhiskyX was created for a new generation of whiskey drinker—a generation that expects and deserves a multitiered event experience beyond just a whiskey tasting—while offering discoveries for seasoned connoisseurs," said WhiskyX CEO Brian Murphy in a recent release.

During the tasting portion of the event at the Boulevard Pool, you'll get to sample more than 60 whiskies (whoo-hoo!), including The Busker single grain, single pot still or single malt, and The Triple Cask Triple Smooth, a blend of the other three offerings—it's made on an 18th-century estate in Ireland. Other brands to look out for include small-batch maker Teeling, single-malt specialist Aberlour and Alabama-style distiller Clyde May’s (which has such an interesting backstory).

You can also get bites from several of The Cosmopolitan's restaurants like Momofuku by David Chang and sister restaurant Bāng Bar (pork belly buns and foldups), chicken and mushroom paella from Jaleo by José Andrés, porchetta sandwiches from Lardo, and offerings from STK, Holsteins and Hattie B’s Hot Chicken.

There's entertainment, too, including music from both St. Paul & The Broken Bones and Fitz & The Tantrums.
