The Halloween season and holiday is upon us, and for those that want to celebrate while in Las Vegas, there’s plenty around town to get you in a festive mood.

Wink World: Portals Into The Infinite at Area15 is offering $11 tickets to the experience if you come dressed up in costume on specific days: on Oct. 28, dress in your best throwback ’80s gear; on Oct. 30, dress in alien- or space-themed attire; and on Oct. 31, come in the costume of your choice. Also at Area15, Emporium Arcade Bar will host “Halloweemo” on Oct. 31, a 21-and-older emo Halloween party with guest DJs and costume contests, beginning at 9 p.m.

FSLV—Fashion Show Las Vegas offers a Trick or Chic event every Friday and Saturday from 3-7 p.m. Enjoy a bone-chilling couture walk-through experience with frightful delights (Trick or Chic is on Level 2 next to Zara).

Embark on a self-guided journey through the Museum of Monsters at Tivoli Village. Open daily, the museum offers plenty of photo ops with more than a dozen life-size characters from some of the most iconic scary movies. For a real fright, the Freakling Bros. Horror Shows (6555 S. Riley St. in the IKEA parking lot) is back for its 29th year with three truly terrifying experiences that will test your resolve, including Gates of Hell, Coven 13 and Castle Vampyre.

From Oct. 29-31, head to The Linq Promenade to celebrate all things Halloween as the outdoor entertainment complex is covered in spooky décor and will offer bar carts, fortune tellers and themed specials at its various retailers and bars and restaurants. For a larger group, stop into Virgil’s Real Barbecue on Oct. 31 and enjoy the Virgil’s Bloody Bath Punch, a gallon-sized cocktail that serves four to six people for $52.

More Halloween-themed cocktails are available at Mob Museum’s speakeasy The Underground. For $12 each, enjoy the gin-based Witch’s Brew and the whiskey-based A Murder of Crows. On Oct. 30, don your best 1920s costume and enjoy live jazz music and a costume contest (free entry with the secret password “Heebie-Jeebies”). And at locals favorite Sand Dollar Lounge, enjoy a fully immersive bar and lounge experience throughout October dubbed “Nightmare on Spring Mountain.” Enjoy specialty cocktails, themed costume nights, themed live music and more.
