Let yourself be transported to one of Las Vegas’ most charming landscapes with the annual autumn floral display at Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. This year, visitors trip along paths through various scenes from a fairy house to gingko trees awash in golden leaves.
“As guests embark on their journey Deeper Into the Woods, a fairy tale-like adventure inspires transformation and reflection at each turn,” said designer Ed Libby in a release. “Our fall display is designed to be a fully immersive experience through delightful visuals, scents and sounds that give guests the familiar warm and cozy autumn feeling.”
The various scenes are all put together by Bellagio’s horticulture team, with 97 people contributing to the final display, which was installed in just a few days. As guests wander through, they’ll find the fairy house in the west bed, with snails adorned in hand-painted spiral shells, floral mushrooms and 800-pound gourds surrounding the area.
In the north bed are a family of grizzlies beside an elaborate fountain made with glass-blown flowers. The east bed features a huge tree to walk through, while in the south bed, foxes sail through a koi pond. On all sides you’ll find mushrooms, acorns, dragonflies, squirrels, hedgehogs and more, all created with a botanical bent.
The fall display is open 24 hours, but only runs through Nov. 13. So if you are waiting to go until your return trip, don’t. Go now!
By the numbers:
8,730 Pounds of pumpkins scattered about
1,998 Ivy plants trail in the border surrounding the beds
2,000 Chester fern plants placed throughout
59,950 Carnations used in the mushrooms
