There are many excellent tribute shows on the Las Vegas Strip, but the longest-running one, Legends in Concert, manages to remain fresh and vital 40 years into its run. It’s an ever-revolving showcase for the best celebrity impersonators on the planet—not only do they look exactly like their real-life counterparts, they move and sing like them, too! Add in a live band and some of the most talented dancers on the Strip—not to mention another Las Vegas legend, drag queen extraordinaire Frank Marino, as host—and you have the quintessential Las Vegas show.
Past shows have had themes, including the legends of British rock and legends of country, and the latest show, which kicks off Feb. 2, is a celebration of some of the most influential female superstars of the last five decades. The lineup includes:
Elisa Furr, who recently competed in the reality competition Clash of the Cover Bands, performing as Celine Dion. Expect plenty of goosebump-inducing high notes;
Lisa McClowry, belting out decades of hits, from “Believe” to “If I Could Turn Back Time” as Cher;
Tierney Allen, embodying the all-in-one-package Lady Gaga and performing hits like “Shallow” and “Poker Face”;
Janae Longo performing as Adele. For those who lost out on tickets to see the music superstar’s residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, this is the next best thing.
Marino, who has been performing on the Strip for decades himself in a variety of different shows, said he’s thrilled to be a part of the Legends experience. “I can honestly say thus far it’s been one of the happiest times in my career,” Marino said in a news release. “Not only is all the management great, but I also I adore everybody in the cast. Working with Legends is like one big family, and I hope this collaboration is one that will go on forever.”
