Circa Resort & Casino was the shining star that Las Vegas needed during 2020. The future looked bright with the opening of the new hotel-casino, the first built from the ground up in downtown since 1980. In its second year, Circa continues to wow guests with its multitude of offerings—from the multistory casino and sportsbook, behemoth pool complex that operates 365 days a year to the excellent offerings when it comes to food, drink and entertainment. We’ve picked three of our favorite spots for you to explore.
1. Legacy Club
Besides the obvious highlights of Legacy Club—it’s on the 60th floor, has a spacious rooftop patio and gorgeous views of the valley—the lounge offers some pretty cool bonuses. If you want a real special evening, book the Sunset Package. You get private seating around one of the fire pits on the patio, two handcrafted cocktails and a champagne toast at sunset. Legacy Club also offers those that love making and learning about cocktails a cool opportunity to do both with its Elevated Spirits Craft Cocktail Course. Guests get the chance to craft three different cocktails, learn the history behind spirits and cocktails, learn proper cocktail-making techniques and gain knowledge on how to craft your own cocktail recipes.
2. Project BBQ

This restaurant is just a cool place to hang. Project BBQ is situated right along the Fremont Street Experience and features a permanent food truck where guests can order some of the best Carolina barbecue and all the fixings. The picnic-style dining area offers high-top tables where guests can stand up and eat while enjoying all the people-watching action. For a real memorable experience, we suggest ordering Project BBQ’s gigantic Hogstravaganza Platter. (Tip: This is for a large, hungry group). The platter is delivered to your table with lit sparklers. On the platter is a whole roasted pig, Project crackling skins and chips, a whole pineapple, corn on the cob, zucchini, bell peppers, roasted potatoes, coleslaw, limes, a variety of sauces and the Hundred $$Dollar$$ Sandwich (which you can also order on its own). The 2-foot-long sandwich is piled with brisket, pork and chicken with BBQ sauce, beer and cheese sauce, bacon bits and Project chips.
3. Circa Bar

While Circa Resort & Casino doesn’t technically have any resident shows at the property, there is some great entertainment. Seek out Circa Bar outside along the Fremont Street Experience. Here you’ll find some cool shows around the clock. Circa Bar is staffed with some of the best flair and dancing bartenders in the city. If you’ve never seen flair bartenders perform, you’ll want to take out your camera and hit record while they flip, toss, balance, stack and shake multiple bottles and tins at once to whip up your cocktail. When not serving up one of the frozen cocktails, the beautiful dancing bartenders get up on top of the bar and perform numbers throughout the day and night.
