For years, Ray Romano held court with the hilarious David Spade at The Mirage as part of the Aces of Comedy series. Together, they were considered as sure a thing as there is on the Strip for guaranteed laughs. And that tradition is about to continue in a big way, albeit one with significant changes: With The Mirage’s eventual transformation into the Hard Rock Hotel, the property has unveiled its new comedy series, Center Stage Comedy. And Romano, one of its first featured comedians, is now joined onstage by Brian Regan.

Emmy-winning Romano is, of course, immediately recognizable to a whole generation of fans who watched him every week on Everybody Loves Raymond (not to mention his star turns in movies like The Irishman, The Big Sick and Bad Education). His unmistakable voice is also front and center in animated fare like the Ice Age movies.

Regan is arguably one of the hardest-working comedians in the industry, as well as one of the most admired (Jerry Seinfeld, who featured him on two episodes of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, refers to him as “one of my favorite, favorite stand-up comedians,” and has produced several Netflix productions starring Regan). He’s a great comic foil for Romano, capable of making anything funny—even shipping packages with UPS.

It’s the beginning of a new comedy tradition in Las Vegas. Be one of the first to say you were there.
