Frankie Moreno, the multifaceted singer and songwriter who holds the record for the most No. 1 songs on the iTunes U.S. Top 40 charts, performed his first ticketed concert in Las Vegas at the Palms resort just west of the Strip. That feels like a lifetime ago, and it certainly was for this popular destination, which has changed ownership a few times since then.

Now, the new team behind the reinvigorated Palms is focusing on live entertainment, and Moreno is back in the fold. He’s rocking and rolling with his knockout band and a few special guest stars until at least mid-summer at Kaos, the versatile space built as a hi-tech nightclub and now used for a variety of innovative performances.

Moreno, who always bounces between musical genres and styles, launched this residency in the summer of 2022, shining bright and crackling with energy in front of a crowd of his loyal local and visiting fans (who snatched up cabaret tables and cozy booths on the floor) as well as a joyful posse of Vegas entertainers and industry figures who flocked to the mezzanine level to sip cocktails and explore what live music could look like in this intriguing setting.

Spoiler alert: It’s a lot of fun. “It’s literally the perfect space for what we do. We built the show specifically for the room,” Moreno told the Las Vegas Sun after his Kaos debut. “The energy in there is indescribable. It’s intimate but like an arena at the same time. We are very excited to be there and very thankful to the Palms for (this) partnership.”
