To say this has been a huge year for Barry Manilow would be a huge understatement: He broke Elvis Presley’s record of 636 performances at the International Theater at Westgate Las Vegas; the New York Pops celebrated its 40th birthday with a Carnegie Hall gala dedicated to Manilow’s music; and his Broadway musical Harmony opened in November! There’s really only one way for Manilow to close out the year—helping his fanbase ring in the holidays in Las Vegas.

A Very Barry Christmas, a riff on Manilow’s ridiculously successful residency at the International Theater, promises an endlessly entertaining evening of his greatest hits, interspersed with holiday chestnuts. From Dec. 7-9, Manilow will spread holiday cheer through songs like “Jingle Bells,” “White Christmas,” “(There’s No Place Like) Home for the Holidays,” “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” and “Happy Holiday/The Holiday Season.” But he’ll also remind audience members why they keep coming back to see him again and again, thanks to classics like “Looks Like We Made It” and “I Write the Songs.”

Capping off his wonderful year? On Dec. 11, NBC will air a Manilow Christmas special that is based on his Las Vegas shows. So if you’re unable to get to town (or snag a ticket while you’re here), don’t forget to set that DVR for the next best thing to being there.
