It’s the best of both worlds: You get to enjoy the glamor of Vegas, combined with the merriment of the holiday season. Here are a few Christmas attractions and shows to get you in the spirit.

The Ice Rink at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas gives you a little lodge feeling with an ice rink (skates available for rent), fire pits, hot chocolate, apple cider and adult holiday-inspired cocktails. This is a favorite for locals and visitors each year.

A must for locals is Ethel M Chocolates Holiday Cactus Garden Lights. Get yourself a hot chocolate, check out the thousands of lights strung around the massive plants of the garden, and see Santa himself. On the way back, swing through the gift shop to fill out any holes in your Christmas gift list. If you get the holiday collection, snag the prickly pear satin crème—it’s divine.

For a heartwarming experience that will give you belly laughs, ventriloquist Terry Fator’s seasonal A Very Terry Christmas at New York-New York brings all the cast members from his regular show together to celebrate. Everyone from Winston the Impersonating Turtle to Duggie, the burner extraordinaire, busts out their favorite holiday tunes.

If you stop into Bellagio, the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens seasonal display features The Nutcracker this year. Scenes from the ballet play out throughout the attraction, accented by amazing floral décor created by designer Ed Libby and the Bellagio horticulture team. It’s open 24 hours.

If you’re traveling around looking at the holiday fun in Vegas, there are several other places to check out. At The Shops at Crystals, you’ll have a hard time ignoring the 55-foot tree, decorated with 100,000 LED lights and 5,000 Swarovski ornaments. Shaq’s Fantasy Lab at FSLV—Fashion Show Las Vegas presents A Christmas Dream, with different holiday themes in each room of the immersive experience. Off the Strip, check out Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Speedway, Enchant at the Las Vegas Ballpark and Opportunity Village’s Magical Forest, which is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year.
