When it comes to comedy, it really doesn’t get bigger than Kevin Hart. And Las Vegas entertainment news doesn’t get bigger than this: Hart is bringing his Reality Check Tour back to town for two days at Resorts World.

If anyone qualifies as a Renaissance man of stand-up, it’s Kevin Hart. The Philadelphia-born comedian’s boundless energy is channeled in so many productive directions that an argument can be made for the existence of a secret twin. It’s just Hart appearing in dozens of successful comedy movies, film franchises, television series, a spoof of the Real Housewives concept and a prank reality show for which he masqueraded as a Lyft driver.

Between a fruitful deal with Netflix, his own Hartbeat Studios and Laugh Out Loud Network, Hart has become a major force in entertainment. Seven years ago when he was named by Time as one of the 100 Most Influential People, Chris Rock cited him as the biggest comedian in the country.

“I don’t think there’s even a No. 2,” wrote Rock. “In Kevin’s comedy, there’s the minute observations of Jerry Seinfeld, the family-oriented storytelling of Bill Cosby and the open-wound honesty of Richard Pryor. But mostly there’s a lot of Kevin Hart.”

Since then, he’s successfully harnessed that influence and created enterprises that that keep a lot of peers and professionals employed, while still finding time to lend his talents to projects such as his buddy Chris Spencer’s upcoming film Back on the Strip. His current Reality Check Tour brings him back to the Strip for his two-date stint at Resorts World Las Vegas.
