There are few words more inviting to hotel guests than “dinner and a show.” And thanks to the new digs Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club moved into at MGM Grand, dinner and a show is a snap. Because the famed comedian’s iconic comedy club is now smack-dab in the heart of The District, it’s an easily walked distance from any restaurant you select in that area—Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House, International Smoke, Morimoto Las Vegas and Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak, to name a few.

The club itself is a perfect setting for kicking back and relaxing for an hour and a half—when you’re not doubled over in laughter, that is. While you’re there, consider purchasing a hat personally signed by Garrett; 100% of the purchase price goes to charity, in this case Maximum Hope Foundation, which provides assistance to critically ill children and their families.

As you plan your evening this week, here’s a special surprise: While Garrett does not always appear at his club, this week he does! You can catch the man himself, famous from not only TV’s Everybody Loves Raymond but countless voice-over work in animated movies and guest appearances in shows like Fargo, Dec. 1-3. He’ll be joined by Gabriel Rutledge and Lenny Schmidt. On Nov. 30, Rutledge performs along with Schmidt and Ester Steinberg.
