Pride month may be in June, but Las Vegas Pride takes over downtown this weekend, and festivities can be found all over the valley. Keep reading for some of the most exciting ways to get in on celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.

Sin Sity Sisters Project Nunway (Sahara Las Vegas, 6 p.m. Oct. 14, 18+, starting at $50, eventbrite.com) Join the Sin Sity Sisters as they raise funds for the Sisters AIDS Drug Assistance Program, which provides crucial medications to people affected by HIV//AIDS. Hosted by drag legend Alexis Mateo, 16 designers will be paired with a Sin Sity Sister to create a fierce ‘80s-themed look. There will also be a thrilling performance by drag icon Chad Michaels.

Beyond Brunch (AREA15, 11 a.m. Oct. 15, 21+, starting at $105, area15.com) This brunch variety show hosted by drag “showgirl” Andrew Ryan features all kinds of entertainment like comedy, acrobatics and other circus-style variety acts, all for you to enjoy while you nosh on fabulous mid-morning dishes. While you’re in the entertainment complex, stop by Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, where you can purchase a bottle of newly released Rainbow Wash, and the surreal supermarket will donate proceeds for this hot item’s sales to the LGBTQIA+ Center of Southern Nevada. You can round out your trip to AREA15 with a stop at Oddwood Bar to enjoy a refreshing pride themed cocktail.

Infinity Well (Paradox Museum, 10 a.m. daily through October, starting at $35, paradoxmuseumlasvegas.com) This Pride-themed exhibit will be available for viewing for the month of October and provokes complex thought in its mission to inspire love, acceptance and pride among members of the LGBTQ+ community and its straight allies. This optical illusion uses infinite reflections to create the experience of being in a disorienting well that is seemingly inescapable, only for the display to transform with the colors of the LGBTQ+ flag.

While this list is a ton of fun on its own, it’s just a small sampling of the Pride-related events happening all over the valley. You can find Las Vegas Pride’s full event calendar at lasvegaspride.org.
