Spring brings an abundance of tea party-themed offerings to Las Vegas, and one of the funnest is The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Shady Grove Lounge. This neato bar, which sports an Airstream in a forestlike setting, gets all dolled up in Alice in Wonderland décor through June 2. The lounge has undergone a fanciful transformation, with huge flowers and other elements to impart a sense of whimsy.

Friday to Sunday from 5-10 p.m., indulge in a variety of cocktails, all designed with a tea theme in mind. Select from such goodies as the Mar-tea-ni, with green tea vodka, yuzu sour mix, cucumber simple syrup and gold glitter; Sunshine Tea (pictured), with sweetened sunshine tea, vodka and passion fruit lemonade; the Bee’s Knees, with lemon-verbena tea, gin, a honey simple syrup and lemon juice; and Tennessee Tea, with Knob Creek bourbon, honey simple syrup and rose water. Try a variety of snacks on the Mad Hatter Tea Tree, where a wooden tea stand comes with petit fours, jalapeño pub cheese, Boursin and brie and more.

During the tea party, play the Mad Hatter Puzzle Hunt—clues to solve are in the lounge, and correctly submitting the answers earns an entry to possibly win a stay at Silverton Casino Lodge and a Twin Creeks Steakhouse dinner for two.
