It’s been quite a year for Latin sensation Karol G. In addition to the massive success of her latest single, “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” a showstopping performance at the VMAs and multiple Latin Grammy nominations, she got two wax figures unveiled by Madame Tussauds in New York—one of which is now in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas figure is an homage to her collaboration with Shakira from their music video TQG, in which Karol G appeared with striking red hair, Blumarine dress and boots, jewelry from Jacob & Co. and the style that has become her trademark. Upon seeing her likeness, Karol G commented, “My first impression was I love my smile, and the color of my eyes. I hope when my fans meet the figures that it’s a manifestation for them that one day they will meet me.”

And Karol G is just the beginning of some of the music stars you can see in Las Vegas:

• J Balvin, the attraction’s newest figure, wears a floral three-piece suit (a perfect re-creation of his 2021 Moschino Met Gala ensemble) and sports a bleach-blond buzz cut.

• Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker’s figure has the distinction of being the most tattooed wax likeness in Madame Tussauds’ history—more than 100. In addition, the all-black wardrobe was supplied by Barker himself, from the leather jacket to the boots. It took nine weeks to stencil and color the figure’s head and seven weeks for the body. But the result? A true work of art, just like the man himself.

• Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny’s figure is posed in front of a purple semi decked out with flames (inspired not only for the cover for El Último Tour Del Mundo, but by his outfit, hair and jewelry from the 2021 American Music Awards). Bad Bunny has other figures on display in New York and Orlando, Fla.

• Hip-hop legend Missy Elliott’s figure replicates the outfit she wore to the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards. A fan of her groundbreaking album Supa Dupa Fly helped Elliott hand-embellish the figure’s glossy tracksuit, and Elliott donated a pair of Versace kicks. Twenty artists worked six months to get every detail just right.
