What makes Creed’s continued worldwide fame so astonishing is that the band has released only four albums over its 30-year existence—the last one in 2009! But some music stands the test of time, and Creed has more than earned its place among those venerable bands that sell out no matter where they go. Need more proof? They’re helping close out 2024 in Las Vegas.

The band’s on-again/off-again status has been well-documented, but the original lineup of singer Scott Stapp, lead guitarist Mark Tremonti, drummer Scott Phillips and bassist Brian Marshall are reunited and enjoying a massive resurgence in popularity, partly due to the band’s hits being featured in TikTok videos. (Earlier this year, their music returned to no fewer than four Billboard charts!)

It also doesn’t hurt that their 1999 album Human Clay remains one of the best-selling albums of all time, thanks to singles like “With Arms Wide Open” and “Higher.”

As the band takes the stage at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace (with special opening act Sevendust, an alternative metal band which began its career at about the same time as Creed), fans can surely look forward to those hits and many more like “My Own Prison,” “What If,” “What’s This Life For” and “Are You Ready.” Yes, we are.

Caesars Palace, 7:30 p.m. Dec. 30 and 9 p.m. Dec. 31, starting at $99 plus tax and fee. ticketmaster.com
