Looking to keep the kiddos happy for an hour? Or are you an adult dinosaur lover? Whatever your situation is, much fun—and learning—can be had at Dino Safari: A Walk Thru Adventure at Horseshoe Las Vegas.

This self-guided exhibition transports guests to prehistoric times as dinosaurs come to life (When you watch the animatronic monsters move for the first time, it might just make you jump a little!) and tell their 66-million-year-old story. From the triceratops and velociraptors to the scary rows of teeth on the herrerasaurus and T. rex, guests can stop by each dino to snap pics and learn the stats on each reptile. Make sure you don’t miss checking out the Observation Station—it’s one of the coolest parts of the exhibit.

Besides the fun, Dino Safari is also a great teaching tool; find tons of information at each stop and around each corner, soaking up all the facts about what this world once was when dinosaurs roamed Pangea for more than 170 million years. There are also great interactive stations for the kids, including an archeological dig area where they can search for fossils. Don’t miss the little dino rides, too, including sliding down a dinosaur’s tail and teeter-tottering on a mini dino.

High-tech audio-visuals help aid the experience, and the jungle-like atmosphere will keep guests immersed in the world once ruled by these ginormous creatures.
