Few destinations are quite as social as the Irish pub. And few Irish pubs on the Las Vegas Strip are quite as social as Nine Fine Irishmen, as authentic a spot as you’re liable to find outside the Emerald Isle—every part of this venue was built in Ireland and shipped to New York-New York. But authenticity is only the beginning of the special memories you’ll make here.

The first thing you’ll want to set up here is a drink, and you’ll have plenty of quality choices, from a fresh Guinness (so smooth and silky, possibly the best stout ever conceived, in this writer’s opinion) to favorites from Las Vegas breweries (ask your server what’s available; it changes quite frequently). As you quaff, peruse the menu for your starter. We personally recommend Irish nachos, kettle chips smothered with beer cheese sauce, chive aioli and green onions, and drunken onion rings served with spicy mustard.

All the staples you’d expect from an Irish pub are here for main courses, from shepherd’s pie, a mixture of ground beef, peas, carrots and onions topped with mashed potatoes, fish and chips, chicken curry and bangers and mash, and all are superb. But for a change of pace, try the 14-ounce ribeye or 12-ounce New York strip. Try a Guinness chocolate cake for dessert.

Just promise us: Bring as big a group as you can here. It’s so much more fun that way.
