The show’s host, Lorena Peril, shines with witty humor and powerhouse vocals that leave you itching to hear more. The vocalist seamlessly transitions from singing songs like “Roxanne” by The Police and Nina Simone’s version of “I Put A Spell On You” to cracking jokes with the crowd. And if you’re close enough for Peril to see you (which you are, because there’s literally not a bad seat in the house), be ready. You may have the opportunity to participate in the show; you may even find yourself onstage.
And the dancers are incredible. They’re athletic, they’re gorgeous, and they never miss a beat. You’ll get a taste of many fantasies throughout the show, one being the super playful peek-a-boo number to “Solo Dancing” by Indiana. As each of the girls take their turn pulling apart the curtains and having a moment alone in the spotlight, the upbeat, dynamic tunes pull the crowd in. During Peril’s rendition of “Black Velvet,” you’ll watch a few of the women get all tied up. Fans of the movie Burlesque will enjoy the final fantasy of the night as the ladies show you exactly how they burlesque. The show’s cast also includes an aerialist who performs some heart-stopping stunts.
Right now is an especially neat time to see Fantasy: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease, because it is on the road to 25 years at Luxor, which means it’s making a lot of changes. Normally, the show refreshes a few numbers per year, but this year most of the show will be revamped. That means you can have the time of your life at the show while you’re here, and by the time you come back (because we know you can’t resist coming back), the production may look very different. Sure, the greatest parts will remain, but there will be new props, songs and choreography being added all year.
