The day that the developers of Resorts World Las Vegas conceived of a three-hotel concept marked the beginning of drastic change on the north end of the Strip. Rather than present all hotel rooms under one roof, Resorts World made a clear demarcation between guest experiences with a choice of staying at Las Vegas Hilton, Conrad Las Vegas or Crockfords Las Vegas when it opened in 2021. By design or accident, Resorts World also created an appetite in video-blogging adventurers to stay in all three towers, usually during one visit. It’s just one fascinating facet of a destination that continues to surprise, and this month the property celebrates three years of changing the game.

Tower exteriors are embedded with video screens; aquatic areas include a family pool, a play area with ping-pong and giant chess set and an adults-only selection with an infinity pool that looks over the Strip; inside, a 50-foot-tall digital sphere greets guests at restaurant-and-retail zone The District with laughing and smiling emojis; and an extensively curated collection of modern and historical pieces can be found throughout the property. Look out for William Sweetlove’s Cloned Bulldog with Pet Bottle, Jae Yong Kim’s colorful Donuts, works by David Spriggs and Daniel Allen Cohen’s masterwork The Periodic Table of Las Vegas.
In a very short time, the state-of-the-art Resorts World Theatre has seen some of the biggest names in show business deliver unforgettable shows that will forever be an integral part of the Strip’s history. Carrie Underwood, who christened the venue with her Reflections residency just six months after the property’s grand opening in 2021, seems to just be getting started there. (How lucky are we?) And it’s not just the theater that provides live entertainment. DJ Illenium performs June 29 at Ayu Dayclub, while T-Pain performs at Zouk Nightclub on July 11.
Dining has been extensively curated as well, with restaurateur Sean Christie’s Carversteak having become an institution. The plethora of casual dining choices and vibrant atmosphere at Famous Foods Street Eats has made it a go-to destination for hotel guests and visitors, while caviar connoisseurs can head to Chef Shaun Hergatt’s Aqua. The bold flavors of Europe can be found at Bar Zazu, Genting Palace provides an immersive classical Chinese dining experience, and Californians will feel at home at Wally’s Wine & Spirits, a restaurant, wine bar and gourmet market. Upcoming restaurants include Copper Sun, a concept by Happy Lamb Hot Pot that serves Inner Mongolian cuisine to habitués of the savory and simmering, and Stubborn Seed, which will feature an “extraordinary culinary journey” with fresh and seasonal ingredients courtesy of Top Chef season 13 winner Jeremy Ford.

For shorter sojourns into sweets and treats, Junior’s Restaurant and Bakery and Lady M offer transcendent New York cheesecake and signature mille crepes, respectively. It’s a good idea to fuel up before your own extraordinary journey, whether that involves enjoying a one-of-kind treatment at Awana Spa & Wellness or shopping at Fred Segal. The only real problem is choosing which hotel to stay in first.
To really keep the third-anniversary celebration going, get your ticket now for a truly one-of-a-kind event: a Pan-Asian, six-course meal at Crossroads Kitchen (July 1) curated by Crossroads chef Tal Ronnen along with celebrity chef couple Jet and Ali Tila.
