So you’ve brought the whole family down to the desert and now you need something everyone will love? Look no further than Popovich Comedy Pet Theater, a long-running show which features more than 30 house pets, including dogs, cats, parrots and so much more.
A fantastic option for families with little ones, this show is so freakin’ cute. The cast of critters and their human handlers put on lighthearted and funny skits that will keep even the squirmiest little ones engaged. While it’s impressive enough to see the well-trained animals execute their roles perfectly, the show’s main character, Gregory Popovich (who you may recognize from America’s Got Talent) also pulls off various classic circus acts like juggling way too many objects to count, balancing on a free-standing ladder and doing both of those things at the same time!
Just wait until you witness a dog riding a Shetland pony or a cat jumping through hoops—you’ll be amazed. And the best part is that each animal in the show has been rescued from an animal shelter and taught tricks that align with their natural inclinations.
After the show, stop in the lobby to not only pet some of the stars of the show (seriously, Popovich’s cats are total love bugs), but also to meet and greet with the man himself and have him sign copies of his books about how to train animals.
