As if Vegas needed more heat this summer, the legendary Chippendales has moved into a brand-new, custom-designed home inside Planet Hollywood. And if you haven’t seen this revue in its upgraded digs, what exactly are you waiting for?
After decades of shaking things up at Rio Las Vegas (and, as of late, The Linq Hotel), the icons of tease now command a stage worthy of their name. This isn’t just a new address, it’s a full-on production glow-up: state-of-the-art lighting, jaw-dropping effects, killer sound and choreography so sharp it could slice right through your inhibitions.
“We’ve loved our time at The Linq, but having a theater of our own gives us room to grow, innovate and deliver the experience fans know and love,” said Katerina Tabakhov, director of operations for Chippendales. Translation: bigger numbers, bolder moves, and yes, a fresh supply of shower gel.
From the moment you check in and get stamped with the signature bow tie, you know you’re leaving this venue with a hoarse voice and some blurry selfies. The space is intimate, with plenty of room for the dancers to showcase their, uh, talents. The heart-pounding choreography and cheeky teasing that made them legends? Still there—just more personal, more immersive. Expect moody sets, gravity-defying costumes and interactive moments that turn a fun night into a legendary one.
And then there’s the brand’s outfit, highlighted by two iconic accessories: the black bow tie and white cuffs. It’s not just a uniform—it’s an attitude. It symbolizes temptation, fantasy and a guaranteed good time. When the lights drop and the first performer struts out in nothing but that uniform and a trademark grin, you’ll understand why people call this show a rite of passage.
The crowd tells the story: newly minted 18-year-olds, bachelorettes on their last hurrah, post-divorce freedom parties, even solo adventurers looking to treat themselves. Whomever you are, this show is the best way to treat yo self.
As for the numbers, Chippendales delivers classics that never quit: the cowboy roundup, the hard-hat construction fantasy (safety first!), the guitar-strumming rock god, a sultry “Cancion del Mariachi” number—and that shower scene everyone’s waiting for. By the time water cascades from the ceiling, you’ll wish they’d pointed that hose toward the audience, too.
From the first beat to the final bow tie, Chippendales is 75 minutes of nonstop energy, fantasy and fun. And remember: What happens in that theater stays in that theater—unless it ends up on your Insta feed.
