Eighties nostalgia has never been bigger than now, and the hair metal bands of that era are in heavy demand. None more so than this storied quartet, which begins a new Vegas residency on Sept. 12. Get ready for all your favorite hits, from “Dr. Feelgood” and “Girls, Girls, Girls” to “Wild Side.”
2. Janet Jackson

Miss Jackson returns to her successful residency on Sept. 10, and she’ll pack the rest of that month with shows featuring no fewer than 40 songs apiece. Still, her audiences still can’t get enough of hits like “Nasty” and “All For You.” And the theater is a star all its own.
3. Barry Manilow

Manilow returns to his endlessly entertaining residency on Sept. 11, and this is a party you want to be part of—he broke Elvis’ record for most performances at the property last year, so every show sets a new record. He just signed a lifetime contract, so the sky’s the limit!
4. Bruno Mars

Mars is an entertainer you can see this week (starting Aug. 22). This will likely be one of the hottest tickets in Vegas all year. Mars simply never disappoints, combining danceable hits like “Uptown Funk,” “Marry You” and “Just the Way You Are” with some exhilarating choreography for an unforgettable night.
5. Sir Rod Stewart

The songsmith behind “Maggie May,” “Hot Legs” and “Young Turks” comes back Sept. 11, and this one is truly unmissable—he was scheduled to end his Vegas residency last year, but decided to tack on a few more, calling them The Encore Shows. To say you may never have this opportunity again is not an overstatement.
6. Santana

This guitarist and songwriter, who released his latest album, Sentient, this year, returns Sept. 17 and brings an intimidating catalog of genre-spanning hits—and, sometimes, a surprise guest. If you’ve never seen one of his shows, make this a bucket list item. It’s worth it for “Oye Cómo Va” alone.
7. New Kids on the Block

This OG boy band that still packs houses returns to its Vegas residency on Nov. 1, and if you haven’t already gotten your tickets, this one could be a tall order. But c’mon. How can you resist this charismatic fivesome? Especially when they launch into “Step by Step”?
8. Donny Osmond

Osmond returns to his smash engagement beginning Aug. 26, and this master showman who truly does it all combines music, comedy, audience participation and one of the most impressive sustained raps you’ll ever hear for an endlessly entertaining experience And yes, you will hear “Puppy Love.”
9. Jennifer Lopez

This one is huge! Lopez’s last Vegas residency was at Planet Hollywood in 2018, and her return this year is for none other than New Year’s Eve week (Dec. 30-31 and Jan. 2-3), followed by eight shows in March. Welcome back, J.Lo! It’s been too long.
