What better send-off for the summer season than an absolutely hopping Labor Day party? While the warm weather will certainly stick around Vegas for quite some time, the holiday marks the last extended weekend before we head into the fall, so spend it eating, drinking, swimming and partying.
Hit up one of the newest spots in town, Bottled Blonde Las Vegas (Grand Bazaar Shops. 702.690.2992), for a rooftop bar and dining experience that’s the perfect pregame or dinner after a day of drinking. Enjoy bar food basics with a bit of flair when you stop in to dine. Apps like the tempura cauliflower and Bavarian pretzel board start the meal out just right, while pizza, burgers, salads and mains are sure to satisfy. Cornbread and fried chicken served with a side of coleslaw offer some Southern comfort, and a mushroom pizza with garlic and caramelized onions is perfect for your squad.

What’s great about Bottled Blonde Las Vegas is that it’s also an incredible rooftop bar with a stunning view, so you don’t even need to leave to get a taste of the Vegas nightlife. Book a table (some of which have a minimum spend as low as $100) and watch the sun set over the mountains and the glowing city come to life. Order a tower of any signature cocktail like the Emotional Damage, a mix of Jim Beam, lemon juice and passion fruit syrup, to share with your party pals.
Speaking of sunset views, a holiday weekend is the perfect time to splurge on something extra special, and boy, do we have just the thing. Book a Maverick Helicopters (6075 Las Vegas Blvd. S. 702.261.0007) tour over the Strip and surrounding landmarks to experience the beauty of the Southwest. If time is limited, book the short Vegas Views flight, but if you have a few hours to spare, see the Strip, downtown and Red Rock Canyon with the Neon and Nature Tour.

The main 143-foot screen features 14 million pixels of high-def action. Make your experience even better by booking a cabana to have an escape from the searing desert sun. If you’re planning to stick around all week, kick off your weekend with some fireworks on Friday at 9 p.m. here.
The day parties don’t stop there! Catch Fisher at Tao Beach Dayclub (The Venetian Resort. 702.388.8588) or Alesso at Palm Tree Beach Club (MGM Grand. taogroup.com) on Aug. 31. On Sept. 1, stop into Palm Tree Beach Club to dance to Mikey Francis’ bumpin’ beats. To feel like a true insider, book a cabana and order some of the food at either dayclub.
