It’s everyone’s favorite time of year–rodeo season! And as the annual Wrangler National Finals Rodeo rolls into town, so does a ton of boot-scootin boogeying. Check out some of the finest entertainment happening all around town.
For years (perhaps even decades), Golden Nugget has been the mecca of country shows during NFR, and this year is no different. Catch Ray Wylie Hubbard (Dec. 7), Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan (Dec. 8), Neal McCoy (Dec. 9), The Bellamy Brothers (Dec. 10-11), Larry Fleet (Dec. 12) and Jamey Johnson (Dec. 13). All shows begin at 10 p.m. in the showroom (ticketmaster.com).
Head to Westgate Las Vegas (westgateresorts.com) to find another hoedown hot spot with live music acts covering the property, taking over the International Bar and the Cabaret Theater. If staying up late isn’t really your vibe, catch some 4 p.m. shows like Brad Johns in the International Bar (Dec. 9 and 12) or Brooke Baird (Dec. 11). Early birds can also catch afternoon shows from Clay Aery (Dec. 7), Spencer Brunson (Dec. 8 and 10) and Bailey Rae (Dec. 13).
Night owls will want to head to Westgate’s Cabaret Theater for Bart Crow (Dec. 10), Jarrod Morris (Dec. 12) and Giovannie and the Hired Guns (Dec. 13). All shows begin at 8:30 p.m. The International Bar features some late-night shows for the post-rodeo crowds as well. Highlights include Caden Gillard (10 p.m. Dec. 12), Seth Ward and the Silence (11:30 p.m. Dec. 11 and 13), and Jody Bartula and the Barflies (10 p.m. Dec. 11).

The Strip also sees some honky-tonk happenings with big name headliners like Tim McGraw playing the Colosseum at Caesars Palace (Dec. 12-13, ticketmaster.com) and Zac Brown Band playing Sphere (Dec. 12-13, ticketmaster.com). Riley Green plays Resorts World Las Vegas (Dec. 12-13, axs.com), while Zach Top plays one night only at MGM Grand (Dec. 12, axs.com).
For a bit of a laugh, catch Jeff Foxworthy at Planet Hollywood (Dec. 10, caesars.com), Steve Treviño at MGM Grand (Dec. 11-13, mgmgrand.mgmresorts.com) or Wayne Brady at The Venetian Resort (Dec. 12, venetianlasvegas.com).
Watch parties and after parties also abound this week. Check out Gilley’s at Treasure Island (866.286.3809) for nightly NFR drink specials and an official watch party starting at 5 p.m. Expect live country rock music, $10 mechanical bull rides and 2-for-1 draft beers.

Head to Mandalay Bay’s Cowboyville at the Rhythm & Riffs Lounge (mandalaybay.mgmresorts.com) for a nightly viewing party starting at 5:30 p.m. and plenty of live entertainment. This resort is also a shuttle stop for NFR, so if you have rodeo tickets, you can catch a ride to The Thomas & Mack Center and skip the hassle of driving yourself.
