We’ve strung lights around our palm trees, which can only mean one thing here in the desert—it’s Christmas! While you probably won’t see snow, we still have plenty of holiday cheer to go around.

Do we have any Italian Americans in the chat? You don’t need to skip the traditional Feast of Seven Fishes just because you’re in Vegas for the holiday. Find a fabulous five-course, fish-focused menu at RPM Italian (702.860.2225) at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace offered all day on Christmas Eve. This modern take on the festive celebration features tuna crudo, Hokkaido scallops, lobster linguine, seafood risotto and center-cut Creekstone filet mignon.

If five courses seems daunting but you’d still like to celebrate with seafood, head to Balla Italian Soul (702.761.7619) at SAHARA Las Vegas Dec. 24-25 and try an a la carte offering from their Feast of Seven Fishes menu. Highlights include spicy frutti di mare, baked clams casino, brown butter yuzu scallop on half shell, whole trout, and caviar bumps.

After devouring a decadent meal, it’s only appropriate to have some dessert. Find a festive treat at Mon Ami Gabi (702.944.4224) inside Paris Las Vegas Dec. 23-25 when you order the famous Bûche de Noël or, in English, yule log! This rich dessert is filled with semi-sweet chocolate mousse and topped with fudge frosting, then decorated to look like a winter wonderland. Order this must-have delight 48 hours in advance.

Another decked-out dessert awaits downtown at Holsteins Shakes & Buns (1216 S. Main St. holsteinsburgers.com). Available through Dec. 31, the Holiday Pecan Bam Boozled Shake offers an irresistible combination of vanilla ice cream and Bird Dog salted caramel whiskey, served with a full slice of pecan pie on top.

If that’s not enough yuletide yum for you, head to Peacock Alley (702.590.8888), Waldorf Astoria’s tea lounge, to enjoy Nutcracker Afternoon Tea, a thematic take on their usual high-tea service. The light bites have been made extra cutesy for the holiday. Enjoy sweet snacks like Santa Choux and the Ornament Dome and savory bites like the Cucumber Trees and Chestnut Gougere. The cocktail menu has also received an infusion of holiday magic with wintry drinks like the Snow Globe Spritz, made with sparkling wine, rosemary and cranberry ice, and the Fig Jam Bee’s Knees featuring fig jam, gin and lemon juice.

Something that really brings a lot of Christmas magic to the Strip are the dazzling displays that pop up all over the tourism corridor. One of the most iconic, Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens (702.693.7111) currently features a festive fantasyland surrounding The Bellagio Express, an oversized toy train meant to guide you through the whimsical wonderland.

To fully immerse yourself in the holiday, take a short trip off-Strip to Enchant Christmas (enchantchristmas.com) at the Las Vegas Ballpark, where you’ll find countless seasonal sensations. From the all-new Night of the Nutcrackers maze and snow slide to the ice-skating trail and Santa’s landing, you can check all your holiday bucket list items off in this one spot.
