The revamped GO Pool in Las Vegas offers fun and relaxed luxury

Swim-up bar. DJs. Swaying palm trees. Waterfall with grotto. Luxurious cabanas. Multiple pools. Um, where do I sign up!? The newly renovated GO Pool at Flamingo received a gorgeous upgrade with a ton of great amenities, but kept the fun vibe that has long been a draw for guests looking for that cool pool party hot spot.

“The all-new GO Pool feels like a tropical oasis escape in the heart of Las Vegas Boulevard,” says Ryan Kelly, Flamingo’s director of beverage. “It delivers a vibrant, high-energy atmosphere and welcomes all (21+) guests looking for a good time. The design draws from the Flamingo’s iconic mid-century modern and retro-deco roots, blending soft, beachy tones and playful pastels. This creates a fresh, contemporary vibe that still honors the history of the Flamingo.”

Stretched across nearly two acres, GO Pool offers five distinct pools, three VIP escapes where a more mellow, upscale vibe with luxurious cabanas await, a grotto pool hidden by a 50-foot-wide waterfall, and the main pool with swim-up bar and perfect views of the DJ booth that sits high above the grotto area. With cabanas, lounge chairs and daybeds aplenty, one of the coolest things about GO Pool (literally and figuratively) is its many wet decks, where guests can lounge on daybeds and sofas while dipping their feet into the sparkling waters. Some VIP cabanas also offer their own dipping pools, perfect for privacy and that upscale experience.

Kelly points out some of his favorite highlights of the new pool experience: “The swim-up bar is a game-changer—it sits in the shade, has multiple TVs, and falls directly under the DJ booth, so you’re always in the middle of the action. I also love the grotto pool, where you can lounge in a shaded area behind the waterfall—it’s like your own little hideaway. And for guests looking for something more chill, the circular VIP pool offers an exclusive feel just a few steps from the main pool.”

Added to the experience is a reimagined food and cocktail menu—it’s packed with tons of goodies. Kelly and his team put together an impressive lineup of specialty cocktails and then some, divided into categories like lemony cocktails, hard seltzers, spiked and canned beer options, shots, skinny cocktails, tropical recipes and high-end spirit cocktails. He offered three of his faves, too, like the Skinny Spice, made with Maestro Dobel Diamante tequila, Chacho jalapeño aguardiente, agave nectar, lime juice, club soda and Tajín, “a light and zesty cocktail with a kick, perfect for guests looking for something flavorful and lower in calories,” Kelly says. He also likes The G.P.L. (GO Pool Lemonade) with New Amsterdam raspberry vodka and lemonade, topped with Chambord black raspberry liqueur, “a refreshing, citrus-forward drink,” and the Pear of Hearts, made with Maestro Dobel Diamante tequila, Belle de Brillet pear liqueur, strawberry purée and lime juice, “a smooth, subtly sweet cocktail.”

With all this liquid courage available, mellow it out with scrumptious bites like loaded fries, a street taco trio, Southwest rice bowl, Buffalo chicken salad, nachos platter, vegetable crudité with hummus and various sandwiches.

“GO Pool brings the energy people love—live DJs, great food and drinks and a social atmosphere—in an approachable and elevated setting,” Kelly says. “It’s not a dayclub. It’s a lively, resort-style pool experience that’s perfect for guests looking to have fun.”
