The reality show that broke Hulu’s viewership record for an unscripted premiere is back—and for one night, you can see the stars of the show live! Hot off the May 15 premiere of the second season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the MomTok crew is returning to Vegas, this time to put on a bit of a spectacle.

The first season of the ever-popular series followed a cast of mom-fluencers who largely identify as Mormon, though they participate in the religion differently (and some not at all). This seemingly close-knit group of friends found popularity on TikTok for its family-focused content until facing controversy after MomTok member Taylor Frankie Paul posted a video exposing the group’s scandalous behaviors. The show picks up right after Paul’s bombshell post and depicts its cast trying to navigate working as influencers while participating in Mormon culture.

“I think that’s the cool thing about our show is, yes, we were all raised Mormon, but some are more active than others,” MomTok influencer Jessi Ngatikaura (pictured far left) said in an exclusive interview with Las Vegas Magazine. “Some of us have left the church and you kind of see that in the show. Some of us are more open to drinking alcohol or doing, you know, crazy things that Mormons wouldn’t normally do, and I think … that we’re gonna be able to resonate with someone, whether it’s our story, or our personality, or our religion.”

While every episode is jam-packed with drama, one of the final episodes of the season takes place right here in Sin City, and viewers get to once again watch some of the women struggle to find balance between participating in popular culture and upholding their traditional values. No spoilers, but as you might expect, the main event involves a girls’ night out, shirtless male dancers and a not-so-happy-about-it spouse.

That brings us here—the week the wives return to the city for MomTok: The Unholy Tea, a live show featuring Paul, Ngatikaura, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Jennifer Affleck and Layla Taylor. This being the group’s first engagement, there’s no end to the possibility for surprises and shenanigans, but one thing is sure: This is an entertaining bunch.

“I think the reason our show is so popular is because we’re genuinely all friends and we have amazing banter in chemistry, so seeing that live I’m hoping will translate well,” Ngatikaura says. “We do have something called sinner Sunday confessionals, and that was a big part of the show. It kind of created some drama, so the fans are gonna have a chance to submit their own confessions that we’re reading onstage.”

What tea might be spilled remains to be seen, but for invested fans and curious onlookers alike, this will be a must-see event. Expect pop-culture commentary, candid roundtables and interactive games that will keep the energy high and possibly expose secrets you won’t find anywhere else.
