In what was one of the Strip’s most memorable and successful runs, Katy Perry created a whole other world at her Play residency at Resorts World Las Vegas, pulling out all the stops with larger-than-life props, outrageous costumes and animated sequences interspersed throughout. Her fans simply couldn’t get enough, and although her one-day stop in Las Vegas is barely enough to keep her fans satisfied, expect the joint to be packed to the rafters as Perry takes fans through a catalog that is certain to create as much excitement as Play did.

Perry is certainly the center of attention at the moment, taking great pride in her recent Blue Origin space flight with Gayle King, Lauren Sanchez, Aisha Bow, Amanda Nguyen and Kerianne Flynn, saying she had “wanted to go to space for almost 20 years.” And fans can certainly expect her to address the recent backlash she’s faced for participating in the space launch. “Has anyone ever called your dreams crazy?” she asked a recent audience.

Perry would certainly seem to have few dreams to satisfy at this point, becoming one of the world’s wealthiest musicians, becoming one of the best-selling artists in history, selling out arenas wherever she goes, and being dubbed one of the 21st century’s greatest pop stars by Billboard. But ultimately it’s all about the fans; Perry just wants to Play for us. And we can’t get enough.
