Two historic downtown hot spots have joined forces to offer guests a bunch of goodies—The Mob Museum partnered with Golden Gate to present a limited-time artifact exhibition inside the hotel’s lobby.
Curated and presented by The Mob Museum, guests can view the exhibition that celebrates the history of the Golden Gate, the longest-operating casino-hotel in downtown Las Vegas. Check out artifacts like a 1930s-era slot machine, Prohibition-era liquor bottles, ashtrays, matchbooks and knick-knacks, each accompanied by a panel that gives more background and history to the pieces.
The fun doesn’t stop there, though. Now through Sept. 3, guests can also check out Golden Gate’s nightly The Night Starts Here promotion, which includes 25% off admission to the Mob Museum and a chance to win free admission to the museum.
Every day beginning at 4 p.m., visit Golden Gate’s Club One loyalty rewards desk to pick up a free wristband with valid ID. The wristband is an awesome get—it’s your pass to the open bar from 6-7 p.m. at Bar Prohibition! in celebration of The Night Starts Here. Guests also receive a sealed envelope containing a slot coupon with a value starting at $5 going all the way up to $1,000, and you can use the voucher to play your favorite slots between 6-8 p.m. After you’re done partying during The Night Starts Here festivities, keep your wristband on and head to The Mob Museum to receive the 25% discount on your ticket. Come back throughout your vacation to celebrate Golden Gate’s promotional party, because you can also earn points towards The Night Starts Here leaderboard with prizes that include a share of $1,000 in free play and free admission to The Mob Museum.
