BLVD Las Vegas, one of the Las Vegas Strip’s newest and coolest retail destinations, has a limited-time offering you absolutely have to take advantage of: Optik Interactive Light & Sound Experience. First off, it’s free. Second, it ends Jan. 25.

Located at The Overlook on the third floor of BLVD Las Vegas, the experience was created by Brooklyn-based the Urban Conga in collaboration with Serge Maheu (a computer engineer who now specializes in multimedia productions) and powered by Canada-based company Creos. It’s a series of 10 6-foot gyroscope structures that visitors can rotate to create changing light patterns (the gyroscopes contain a dichroic film that reflects daylight and refracts internal LED lighting after dark). In addition, moving the structures also produces different musical tones based on movement speed and direction. In other words, each visitor’s experience will be unique!

While you’re at BLVD Las Vegas, indulge in some retail therapy as well. Retailers like H&M, JD Sports and Pandora offer plenty of high-quality products for every member of your family, and if you’re hungry, get ready for some of the best pizza in town at How Ya Dough’n, an outpost of the South Florida viral sensation that specializes in scratch-made New York-Neapolitan sourdough pies crafted with an 8- to 12-day wild yeast fermentation process.
