It doesn’t get much better than the American Music Awards when it comes to catching your favorite performers all in one place. It’s the world’s largest fan-voted award show, and this year’s 52nd annual ceremony, airing live on CBS and Paramount+ from MGM Grand Garden Arena, is about as star-packed as you can get, starting with the host for the evening, Queen Latifah (pictured).

Taylor Swift leads the pack with eight nominations: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Pop Album (both for The Life of a Showgirl), Song of the Year, Best Music Video and Best Pop Song (all for “The Fate of Ophelia”), Song of the Summer (“Elizabeth Taylor”) and Best Female Pop Artist. And expect a performance—or two.

Right behind Swift with seven nominations each are Dean and SOMBR, breakout stars who are going up against each other in the New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Breakthrough Album of the Year categories. Other first-time nominees include Alex Warren, BigXthaPlug, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, PinkPantheress and more.

Also receiving seven nominations each are superstars Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean and Sabrina Carpenter, while Lady Gaga received six.

Fans of KPop Demon Hunters will be thrilled to know that the singing voices, bEJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, have been nominated in three categories: Song of the Year, Best Vocal Performance and Best Pop Song for “Golden.”
