Floyd Mayweather, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, 50 Cent, Sean Kingston, “any celebrity you can think of, I’ve probably taken care of them,” said Deanna Hare, daylife administrative manager for Sky Beach Club, Tropicana’s new pool club. “From the time they step into the venue to the time they leave, I’m their go-to.”

Hare, a New Jersey native, began her career in Atlantic City at some of the city’s hottest day clubs and nightclubs. She started out as a VIP hostess and quickly moved up the ranks to supervisor, then manager, then administrative manager, working alongside top executives.

Hare eventually set her sights on Las Vegas and moved to the city in February. “I knew it would be a good change for me; better opportunities career-wise,” said Hare, who immediately started at Sky Beach when she arrived.

Hare and her director see huge potential in the new pool club, and it’s her job to not only take care of the celebs but to help plan and execute Sky Beach’s offerings. “It has that fun factor—definitely a lot of different things Vegas hasn’t seen yet,” she said. “There’s games, beer pong, super soakers, workers dressed in Darth Vader, astronaut and unicorn costumes. It’s just out-of-the-box wildness.”

While a relative newcomer to Las Vegas—and kept so busy by her duties that she’s had almost no time to explore—Hare feels right at home. “I can tell it’s something I can easily get used to. I’m loving it so far.”
