Hello, Ms. October! That’s the month on which you’ll find bartender and cocktail server Kristin Morris in Hooters’ 2017 calendar (she posed for the ’15 and ’16 calendars, too). “I love working for Hooters, so why not represent something you love doing?” said the California native.

Morris has worked at Hooters Hotel & Casino for nearly four years, and she says many people, especially women, have misconceptions about the Hooters brand. But it’s a company she couldn’t be happier working for.

“We do a lot of charity work, including breast cancer awareness and working with the SPCA,” Morris said. “A lot of the girls put themselves through college. We’re a family establishment. And here, about 95 percent of (employees are)women... Why wouldn’t you want to work at a place where women rule?”

Although Morris has been in the food and beverage industry since she began working, it’s whipping up cocktails and serving on the casino floor at Hooters where she’s been the happiest. “I would work at any other Hooters, but this one is my home.”

While guests can dine, drink, game and relax at Hooters, a big bonus here are the gracious and gorgeous women, including Morris, attired in classic orange shorts and white tank tops.

“Our motto is, ‘Hooters Makes You Happy’. Definitely, you’ll come in here and be happy,” Morris said. “I know how to put a smile on someone’s face.”

Sidle up to The Saloon or Pete & Shorty’s, the two bars where you’ll find Morris taking care of her guests. Not sure what to order? Morris suggests trying the property’s signature Hooterades, the resort’s version of Gatorade with alcohol. One of the most popular flavors is the blue raspberry, mixed with Smirnoff raspberry vodka, blue curaçao, agave nectar syrup, lemonade and a splash of Mountain Dew. Hooterades also come in orange and lemon-lime flavors.
