Before Dominic Ritzer was the vice president of marketing for Tao Group, which owns Marquee at The Cosmopolitan, he was just a guest at the nightclub. “Marquee was my actual favorite place to party,” says the Las Vegas native. “It was the best place to have fun and go out.” Now he’s in charge of throwing the parties at Marquee.

Ritzer has had a successful career in marketing, working across the country and abroad; he also helped launch top nightclubs in Vegas, including Hakkasan and Omnia. In 2018, he jumped on board at Marquee, and since his arrival he’s been keeping people in party paradise at the nightclub. He recently launched Night Circus, one of the club’s dopest parties, held every Sunday.

“It’s one of my favorite parties we do with Tao Group,” Ritzer says. “I was listening to a William Clark Green song, ‘Ringling Road.’ The lyrics to that song have always reminded me of the nightlife industry—the song is about the characters that work at the circus, so that whole circus hook on it is, ‘Come to the greatest party on earth.’ … We really went at it with every bell and whistle.” (This Sunday, Dec. 11, Night Circus becomes Night Rodeo for NFR fans.)

Now that Ritzer and his team are responsible for throwing the parties at Marquee, it’s like he’s come full circle. “Marquee is on the 50-yard line of the Strip, but it’s over 10 years old and we’re still in the top three (clubs). All the events we do you can always expect a party, somewhere you want to end up. … When you come here, I hope people had the same experience I did. It’s just a fun place to be.”
