For 22 years, flair bartender Tim “Flippy” Morris has helped to make Carnaval Court at Harrah’s a must-visit Las Vegas destination.

“This is an amazing job,” says the L.A. native. “All the people that I’ve met working at this bar, they started off as customers, then friends and now family. I’ve seen people come in, not even pregnant and now I’m serving their kids who just turned 21.”

A self-taught flair bartender, Morris moved to Vegas in 2001 and decided to turn his talents into a career, working at other flair bartending spots on the Strip before joining Carnaval Court. “This job is the one I wanted when I first came out here,” he says. “I knew this is where I wanted to work.”

During his tenure as a flair bartender, Morris has competed all around the world—London, China, Japan, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand—and brought home wins for Carnaval. Watching him flair, you can see why he’s one of the best in the city. Ask him to do his signature move, the “baby pour,” or watch as he balances 60 pounds worth of bottles on the top of his head. Besides his mad skills, Morris’ energy and personality is truly infectious—he makes an experience at Carnaval Court an unforgettable Las Vegas memory.

“I love all bartending, but I love flair bartending because it makes others happy,” he says. “I love the looks on people’s faces when I do the tricks. … Working here has given me an amazing life.”
