Mari Incle is a top woman executive in the Las Vegas nightlife industry, helping to break the glass ceiling of the boy’s club. The Florida native serves as the general manager for On The Record at Park MGM. “There’s always going to be a boy’s club, or challenges, but you just have to stay focused, and that’s what I did,” she says. “I kept doing and managing how I know, and my work spoke for itself. I love that people feel they made the right choice when they hired me.”

Incle is thriving in her new position at On The Record. She joined the nightclub a year ago and, in addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, takes care of VIP guests, special events and celebrity-hosted nights. You’ll often see her roaming the club. “I make a lot of rounds,” she says, smiling. “The first time I saw the club, I thought, ‘This is really unique.’ I was excited about how different it was (compared) to other clubs. It’s not trying to compete; it’s got its own identity. It’s very diverse. Different rooms, different music.”

Incle brings a wealth of knowledge to her position, as she’s served in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years, working every position from cocktail server and bartender to food server and supervisor. For the past few years she’s moved into management roles as her hard work paid off.

“Being a fair manager and being consistent is important,” she says. “See both sides of the spectrum. Do right by everyone. Accountability is super big. Guest service is such a focus and continues to be. Being able to put all my experience together, I feel, has made me successful.”

Libation: Custom Drinks

Inside the Vinyl Parlor speakeasy, you’ll be treated to a personalized cocktail. Grab an album off the wall and the bartender will make a cocktail based on your favorite flavors and characteristics of the album you chose. Incle selected Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods and was made a tequila-based cocktail with guava, lemon and honey.

Benefit: Can’t find the Vinyl Parlor speakeasy? Here’s a hint: Look for the hallway that’s lined with cassette tapes.
