When Corey Nigrelli says Caspian’s Rock & Roe is “awesome, it’s somewhere I would hang out. This is by far the best work environment that I’ve ever worked at,” that’s saying a lot.

While he’s the director of operations for the new hot spot at Caesars Palace, this man has been at the helm of some legendary venues across the city, including nightclubs like Tao and Pure and Wet Republic dayclub. With more than two decades in the nightlife and food and beverage industry, Nigrelli is a legend himself in this city, so when he recommends hanging out at Caspian’s Rock & Roe, it’s a sure bet that it’s a spot to put on your Vegas to-do list.

“Caspian’s is a live rock ’n’ roll lounge blended with a caviar-oriented food menu,” he says. “It’s class, it’s polished, it’s amazing service, but it’s also a rock ’n’ roll party nightly.”

And you’ll spot Nigrelli all around the venue, especially inside the speakeasy portion. (Caspian’s has a beautiful lounge accessible from the casino floor, but hiding behind a painting is the entrance to the chic speakeasy.)

Growing up in a family of restaurateurs, Nigrelli developed that old-school work ethic. “Big smile, big handshake, big hug, remember people’s names and then people feel like they get that personable touch,” he says. “I welcome people to my house—this is my house, let me show you a good time.”

Libation: Strawberry Muse

The cocktails at Caspian’s Rock & Roe are built for social media as well as being on-point in flavor. Inspired by the classic French 75, the Strawberry Muse has quickly become a favorite for its delicious blend of strawberry-infused Tanqueray No. Ten gin, Aperol, lemon, simple syrup, bitters and a sugar rim.

Benefit: Order the Cryo Dirty Martini, it’s briny and cryo-chilled. It’s served with a caviar bump for a touch of rock star swagger.
