Welcome to Las Vegas and its season of triple-digit heat. (Gotta love that air conditioning!) In honor of the summer sun (holy moly, it’s hot!) we’ve rounded up nine spots to indulge in eye-catching, one-of-a-kind, over-the-top treats that will not only help you cool down but satisfy your sweet tooth to perfection.

Cereal Killerz

1. Cereal Killerz (Miracle Mile Shops, 702.485.1110) Cereal lovers unite and cool down with a fun treat—a Cereal Killerz milkshake. Pick your ice cream and then blend and top it with brands of cereal like Fruit Loops, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Apple Jacks, Frosted Flakes, Cocoa Puffs—the brands are seemingly endless. Or you can opt for one of their own recipes like the Poppin Pebblez Pop-Tart Shake or the Cookiez & Cream Pop-Tart Shake (both pictured).

2. Sugar Factory (Harmon Corner Retail Center, 725.777.1216) You can bring your friends or you can go all out on your own when you cool down with the monster King Kong Sundae (it is supposed to serve 12 people) at Sugar Factory. Twenty scoops of ice cream are covered in indulgences like caramelized banana, marshmallows, chocolate chip cookie chunks, glazed donut, vanilla cupcake, gummy bears, waffle cones, candy necklaces, rainbow sprinkles, whipped cream and more!

3. Toca Madera (The Shops at Crystals, 725.255.9030) The vibes and décor inside Toca Madera are reason enough to visit, but it’s also where you can cool down with an elevated traditional Mexican dessert, the churro. Here, it’s made into the Churro Ice Cream Sandwich, beautifully constructed with churros on the top and bottom, holding a big scoop of vanilla ice cream in between, finished off with a drizzle of cajeta and dotted with fresh berries.

4. Craig’s Vegan (Resorts World Las Vegas, 702.676.7000) Dairy is so yesterday, and vegan has become all the rage. Whether you are lactose-intolerant or just cutting the dairy from your diet, you can still indulge in some of the best ice cream that’s dairy-free at Craig’s Vegan. Order a float, sundae or shake or get a double scoop waffle cone of flavors like SoCal Salted Caramel, Sunset & Strawberry and Better Than Birthday Cake.

5. Island Time Floats Tiki Bar (Grand Bazaar Shops, 702.736.4988) Cool down with a pineapple in hand at Island Time Floats Tiki Bar. Inside the hollowed-out fruit, the famous Dole soft serve ice cream can be combined with your choice of rum, making this dessert cocktail a 21-and-over sweet treat. The bar also offers a wide array of flavored mojitos to help you chill out.

6. Cathédrale (Aria, 702.590.8577) This cool treat is one unique dessert, and the coolest part, figuratively speaking, is that it looks like an actual lemon! The Sorrento Lemon is creatively designed to look exactly like the citrus fruit and when you slice into it, you’ll get cold bites of a sweet blend of yuzu granita, calamansi gel and almond cake.

7. Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer (The Venetian, 702.414.2337) Celebrate Pride Month and cool down with the Black Tap over-the-top Pride CrazyShake. The rainbow explosion is a vanilla funfetti shake base with a vanilla-frosted rim with Nerds candy, rainbow donut, rainbow unicorn pop, sour rainbow gummy rope and whipped cream.

8. Kassi Beach House (Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, 702.693.5000) Feel like a kid again with this nostalgic dessert that goes big—the Giant House-Made Ice Cream Sandwich. This sweet and frozen treat stretches across the plate and is stuffed with a pistachio gelato, marshmallow and chocolate.

9. O’Sheas (The Linq Promenade, 702.794.3311) This truly is a delicious treat to beat the heat—trust me! And it’s long been a popular order at O’Sheas. The Bailey’s Milkshake combines the Irish cream with chocolate and ice cream for an adult treat that’s awesome to enjoy as you sit at the outdoor Blarney Bar along the promenade and get your people-watching on.
