While the sounds of slot machines might be like sweet music to some people’s ears, believe it or not, in Las Vegas there’s actually live music. Not just DJs in the nightclub or the many big concerts on the Strip—we’re talking up-close bands.

Free live music at Interlude Lounge at The Cromwell features performances from local acts like Jeremy Cornwell, Ryan W. Maloney and hip-hop violinist Marlon Dasoul. Keep that groove going with the lounge’s $2 vodka cocktails and beer specials from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.

Now that the Vegas’ weather isn’t like the seventh circle of hell, enjoy some tunes outdoors at Beerhaus at The Park. The beer hall offers games on its patio along with live bands on Friday and Saturday nights.

This week, help O’Sheas at The Linq celebrate its 30th anniversary with a wild party on Sept. 28 that will spill out onto The Linq Promenade. The grand finale birthday bash begins at 4 p.m., with famous friends, games, flip cup and live bands like Darby O’Gill and Flannel Channel performing late into the night.

Enjoy chic surroundings while listening to live music that suits the space at NoMad Bar at the NoMad Hotel. Sip on handcrafted cocktails while listening to sweet sounds from 6 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Enjoy creations from master mixologists while you relax in posh surroundings at Lily Bar & Lounge at Bellagio, and enjoy live acoustic performances every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Flash back in time when you hit up the all-new Remix Lounge on the casino floor of The STRAT, where live bands play ’80s and ’90s hits from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Also on Fridays and Saturdays, the iconic Cleopatra’s Barge at Caesars Palace has the Pop 40 band performing at 8 p.m., followed by David Perrico Pop Strings Orchestra from 10 p.m. to midnight.

For some downtown action, head to Rush Lounge at Golden Nugget, where every night you can catch live music that rocks the crowd into the wee hours. And over at the Plaza, head to the Omaha Lounge to catch live performances beginning around 9 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays with bands that play everything from ’70s funk to soul music.
