Resorts World Las Vegas is filled with hidden gems—unexpected spots and speakeasy-type spaces where you can find fantastic cocktails and ambience—and we’ve revealed five of them for you to seek out.

Miss Behave Beauty Bar

Miss Behave Beauty Bar offers both sexes the opportunity to get primped and pretty—or handsome—with its wide array of salon offerings. From blowouts, hair extensions, cut and color, classic manicure and acrylics to eyelash application, eyebrow threading, waxing and makeup application, Miss Behave is a full-service beauty bar with a bonus—it has a full-service cocktail bar!

“We want people to be here, misbehave, drink, have fun—it’s not like your typical, boring, serious salon,” says salon manager Tamara Bullock. “We want people to have fun when they come here.”

Take a seat at the bar and order your favorite cocktail, or check out the Miss Behave specialty cocktail list. “We worked with a lot of mixologists, and they came here and made a lot of the cocktails special just for us,” Bullock says. For a sweeter treat, try the Pretty Kitty, mixed with Bacardi Dragonberry rum, classic margarita mix, Passoã passionfruit liqueur, Sprite and raspberries. Or opt for a classic sip with the popular The Gold Member, blended with Whistlepig 6-Year Piggyback rye whiskey, apricot, dry sherry and vanilla. The bar also offers champagnes by the glass, rosé, pinot noir and beer.

How to Find Miss Behave Beauty Bar: From the casino floor, head towards The District and make a right at Wally’s. Go past the giant globe, past Fred Segal and the beauty bar will be on your right side.

Alle Lounge on 66

Resorts World Las Vegas towers over the Las Vegas Strip, and the 100,000-square-foot exterior display that runs down one whole side of the property’s hotel is a sight to be seen. But did you know at the top of one of the hotel’s towers is a beautiful cocktail spot, Alle Lounge on 66? The city views through the floor-to-ceiling windows are phenomenal; the interior design is sleek, sexy and upscale; and the cocktail program and spirits offered are impressive.

“We focus on craft cocktails mainly, and we also feature an Old-Fashioned program with eight different varieties of the classic cocktail,” says barback Peter Hundley. Popular specialty cocktails, served in crystal glassware, include the Twilight, mixed with Bombay Sapphire, crème de violette, Chambord, lemon, egg white and simple syrup, and The Crockford’s Set, a twist on the classic gin and tonic mixed with Beefeater gin, orange lychee, jasmine tonic syrup and Fever Tree club soda.

“Middle of the week, hands down, best date-night spot in town,” says Hundley. Live DJs play Top-40 and house music on the weekends; during the week, guests can enjoy live music including a violinist and jazz.

Alle on 66 also features very high-end sprits like a Macallan program that includes a $200,000 bottle from 1940—a shot of the stuff will run you about $12,500. There’s also a coveted Louis XIII program—where cocktail servers roam the lounge with a special Louis XIII cart (only a handful are in existence, and Alle has two) and mix guests specialty cocktails tableside or small pours of the popular cognac.

How to Find Alle Lounge on 66: Head toward the Conrad Las Vegas lobby and look for the Resorts World store; you’ll see a bank of elevators. The Alle Lounge elevators will take you to the 66th floor beginning at 5 p.m. daily. Bonus: Also on the 66th floor is a mini casino where you can play some table games and grab a cocktail.

Red Tail

While RedTail isn’t hidden, the sports bar-meets-lounge-meets-college bar hot spot is hiding a fun time: karaoke! You could wander around the whole space and not spot the karaoke rooms. But once you find them, or ask about them, you and your group can settle into one of the three rooms (the design allows the walls to be moved to make one massive room if requested) designed with comfy sofas, chairs, cool lighting and huge screens for displaying the words to the next song you’re going to belt out.

RedTail guests can order popular specialty cocktails like the Happy Ending, mixed with Grey Goose vodka, fresh strawberries and strawberry puree, fresh-squeezed lemon juice and tropical Red Bull. Or go for their twist on the margarita with the Farmer’s Breakfast, mixed with Avion blanco tequila, matcha, cucumber, cilantro, lime juice and simple syrup. “Since we’re more a sports bar and lounge, we make our cocktails more accessible and not overly complicated for our guests,” says bartender Sam Migliozzi. “They can just get something that’s delicious—but it’s still crafted cocktails. They’re all really drinkable.”

Once your group is done with karaoke, try your hand at giant-size Jenga or beer pong, pool, cornhole or free arcade games. On the weekends enjoy live DJ sets; during the week, enjoy live music like cover bands and dueling pianos.

How to Find RedTail: From the casino floor, head to The District and make a right; Wally’s will be on the corner. Go past Wally’s, past the giant globe, past Miss Behave and look for the giant red beer cups. Once inside RedTail, you'll spot three tall doors on the left-side wall of the bar and lounge: Behind those doors are the karaoke rooms.

Baccarat Bar

If you love intimate bars with a clean, fresh design with touches of luxurious furnishings, make your way to Baccarat Bar. Be careful, because you could walk right past—it's set back and off to the side among Crockfords Las Vegas’ gaming tables. Once inside, you can choose to take a seat at the petite, six-seat bar, at one of two small sofas that would snugly fit you and your sweetheart, or at one of the two small tables with just a few chairs (perfect for hanging with your buds). You getting the picture here? There are only 15 seats at Baccarat Bar, and this adds to its exclusivity and speakeasy vibes.

When it comes to cocktails and spirits, it’s all about the best and highest-end offerings. “The program here is to make sure that our high-roller players are given everything they need to be content with our liquor program,” says bartender Andres Moreno. “We have Macallan 15-year and 30-year, Louis XIII, Hennessy Paradis; we’re trying to offer the top-tier bourbon, cognacs and Scotches. We have hard-to-get liquors, and for us to have these liquors and offer them to our guests, it says Resorts World is going above and beyond to make sure guests are happy and taken care of and get what they deserve.”

Baccarat Bar also offers a menu of handcrafted cocktails like the earthy, sweet specialty cocktail the Cherry Blossom. This cocktail is mixed with Japanese Roku gin (a more smooth, easier-on-the-palate gin), fresh-squeezed lime juice, dragon fruit syrup and a splash of Chareau aloe liqueur.

How to Find Baccarat Bar: From the Crockfords Casino & Lounge, walk through the lounge, veer to the left and go past the gaming tables and slot machines. Walk past the casino cage and into the baccarat room. Once inside the room, stay to the right and you’ll come upon the Baccarat Bar.

Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den

The best definition of “hidden gem” at Resorts World Las Vegas is Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den. This writer herself has walked past the bar many times and had no clue it was there until told about it. The front for the speakeasy space is Fuhu Cha Chaan Teng, a store and eatery inspired by the stalls in Singapore.

Once inside, the intimate bar offers bar-top and lounge seating, and the cocktails are a practice in modern mixology. “Every bartender here is amazing and very talented,” says bartender Rylen Komeiji. “You tell them what you want and like, give them a couple minutes and you’ll have something amazing in front you. Our cocktails are very unique and, since it’s an exclusive speakeasy, we wanted the cocktails to be exclusive, too.”

Here Kitty Kitty also offers many Asian-inspired specialty cocktails like the Best Little Whorehouse, mixed with green-tea infused baijiu (which is a popular Chinese alcohol similar to vodka but with a higher proof and more pungent), cognac, lemon juice, honey and peach. Or try the Black Moon Rising, made with Suntory Whisky Toki, white port, fresh-squeezed lemon juice, egg whites and fresh blackberries.

How to Find Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den: Head to Famous Foods Street Eats and look for the Fuhu Cha Chaan Teng stall. You’ll notice a nice amount of seating and walls stacked with products—behind one of those walls is Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den. After 4 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and after 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday, look out for a person holding an iPad.
