Day or night, when the mood strikes and you want to hang in comfortable yet chic surroundings, there’s a new hot spot to go to: Glass Bar at Planet Hollywood. In the center of the casino action, but with a semi-private design that gives guests the feeling of being enveloped in luxury, the newly opened bar gets big props for creating a space perfect for cocktails and conversation. Whether you are wanting to do some pregaming before a concert at the nearby Bakkt Theater or need a cocktail break after a long shopping trip through Miracle Mile Shops or just want to get in some nightlife fun but don’t want to pay a cover or wait in those long nightclub lines, Glass Bar is a great option.

The lounge offers tons of comfy seating, and if your party wants a little privacy, there are plenty of nooks with sofas and tables—or if you’re feeling more social, the circular bar area puts you right in the action with easy access to bartenders and bar-top gaming. The décor is truly stunning, with beautiful, mirrored columns, crystal prisms that catch the lights and polished chrome brass accents. Not to be missed at Glass Bar, though, is its amazing cocktail menu—tons of craft cocktail options in addition to bottled beers and wines by the glass.

Start with the star of the show, the Fruit & Pebble, inspired by Fruity Pebbles cereal and featuring Diplomático Planas rum, Taylor Fladgate tawny port, a specially made Fruity Pebbles syrup and lime juice, with a dusting of crushed Fruity Pebbles and edible flowers along the rim. Another highlight is the Casino Carnival with Absolut Wild Berri vodka, La Marca Prosecco, passion fruit purée, simple syrup and lime juice. Others include the Express Yourself, with Wheatley vodka, Kahlua, simple syrup and cold brew, and the refreshing Maui Mojito with Malibu rum, lemon and mint verbena syrup, lime juice, soda and fresh mint.

Fabulous after-dinner drinks or late-night choices include the Brown Butter Derby with Taffer’s Browned Butter Bourbon, grapefruit and hot honey cordial and a dash of Angostura bitters, and the 4 AM Club with Flecha Azul blanco tequila, Chacho jalapeño aguardiente, prickly pear syrup, Luxardo Maraschino liqueur and lime juice.
